Delhi Public School, Shaheedpath celebrated Dandiya Night with great enthusiasm and festive fervour on 17th October. The event was inaugurated by our CEO, Mrs. Swati Pal, whose presence added grace to the occasion. They appreciated the school’s efforts in fostering cultural engagement, community participation, and the spirit of festivity among students and parents. The evening unfolded with an array of engaging activities and performances. The campus was beautifully decorated with lights and vibrant colours, creating a lively ambience that resonated with the rhythm of Garba and Dandiya Raas. Students, parents, and teachers participated wholeheartedly in the traditional dances, reflecting the joy and unity that mark the celebration Indian festivities. As part of the school’s initiative to go “Vocal for Local” stalls were set up to encourage locally made products. This endeavour not only supported local artisans and entrepreneurs but also instilled in students the values of sustainability and community support. Adding to the festive spirit were numerous game stalls creatively managed by students of all classes, offering fun and interactive experiences. A wide variety of food stalls served mouth-watering cuisines, while a tattoo stall put up by students became a popular attraction for both children and adults. The cultural segment of the evening featured energetic dance performances and melodious songs presented by the students, which were met with enthusiastic applause. The excitement reached its peak with three lucky draws, and the winners were awarded attractive prizes, making the evening even more memorable. The Dandiya Night at DPS Shaheedpath was a resounding success, blending culture, creativity, and community bonding.
